Motegi Town is best known in Japan for Twin Ring Motegi — the Honda-built motorsport complex that hosts MotoGP and has become a destination in its own right for motorsport fans. Less well known is the golf available nearby: Kanto International Country Club sits in the same forested hill terrain of eastern Tochigi, offering a round that shares the area’s spirit of quality leisure.
The Course
The course is set in forested hillside terrain with a layout that uses the Motegi area’s natural topography well. Tree-lined corridors, elevation changes, and well-maintained greens combine to create a round that demands attention from start to finish. The club’s conditioning is consistently good and the facilities are well-run.
