The Aso Course completes the trio at Central Golf Club’s Namegata property, taking its name from the Aso area of the city. As the most recently added layout to the complex, the Aso Course brings fresh design thinking to the flat Ibaraki terrain, with a routing that differs from both the Original and New courses in its approach to challenge and variety.
The Course
The Aso Course uses creative bunkering and water positioning to generate strategic interest on flat terrain. The greens have enough undulation to reward careful reading, and the overall design is consistent with the high maintenance standards of the Central Golf Club complex.
