Toyota City is best known for its automotive manufacturing, but the municipality is enormous — stretching from the factory zones in the valley all the way up into the Inabushi mountain district in the north, where the character is entirely different. Inabushi is a forested highland area with river gorges, traditional farmhouses, and golf terrain that has nothing to do with the industrial city below.
The Course
Inabushi Country Club is set in the mountain forests of northern Toyota, with elevation changes and enclosed fairways that create a genuinely secluded round. The cool highland air makes summer rounds considerably more comfortable than the lowland courses around Nagoya. Greens are well-maintained and the natural setting is the course’s primary appeal.
