ZIPAIR’s baggage policy is simple once you understand the system — but getting it wrong costs money. Here’s everything you need to know before you pack.
Carry-On Baggage (Included in All Fares)
- Maximum: 1 bag + 1 personal item
- Size: up to 115cm total (L+W+H)
- Weight: up to 7kg
- Personal item (handbag, laptop bag): up to 40×30×15cm
Checked Baggage (Paid Add-On)
Checked baggage is not included in the base fare. Purchase in advance via the ZIPAIR website — it is significantly cheaper than buying at the airport counter on the day of departure.
Typical pre-purchase tiers: 20kg / 30kg / 40kg. Counter purchase on the day can cost roughly double the advance price.
Sports Equipment & Special Items
Surfboards, golf clubs, and other oversized items are accepted as checked baggage with special handling fees. Check the current rates on the ZIPAIR website before you travel.
One Important Rule
Alcohol from duty-free or the airport cannot be consumed on board. ZIPAIR prohibits bringing and drinking your own alcohol in the cabin. Alcohol purchased through ZIPAIR’s in-flight service is fine.
Tips
- Pack light — carry-on only saves money and skips baggage claim
- If you need checked baggage, add it during booking, not at the airport
- On Narita–Honolulu: return trips often mean more luggage (souvenirs). Pre-purchase your return baggage allowance at the same time

注意事項
免税店や空港で購入したアルコールを機内に持ち込んで飲むことはできません。ZIPAIRでは私物アルコールの機内での飲用を禁止しています。機内販売のアルコールは注文可能です。

从免税店或机场购买的酒精饮料不得带入机舱饮用。ZIPAIR禁止乘客自带酒精饮料在机内饮用。通过ZIPAIR机上服务购买的酒精饮料可正常消费。

- 尽量精简行李、仅携带随身行李，既省钱又省去提取行李的时间
- 如需托运行李，务必在订票时添加，切勿等到机场再购买
- 成田至檀香山航线：回程往往会多出不少纪念品，建议提前规划好回程的托运行李额度
